We all love getting friends and family in one place for regular catch ups. Would it not be wonderful if our loved ones could all get together on the same video call and see everyone else? Thanks to Skype, now, everyone has group video calling, and it's easier than ever...and FREE!
Share all your big moments (and small ones too).
Whether you’re planning a party or just want to catch up with friends and family, group video calling lets you get together with everyone all at once — no matter where they are.
How It Works
It’s really simple to start a group video call. So simple, you can learn how to do it in under a minute. Before you visit Skype website (link to it is below) for more on how to do this, note the following.1). Talk with up to 10 people
Group video calling can be between 3 and 10 people, depending on the device. For best quality, Skype recommends up to 5 people.
Get loved ones together on the same group video call — in just a few clicks.
Skype's fair usage policy applies.
2). Show your screen
Make travel plans, group decisions or simply share your holiday photos with everyone else on the call.
3). Use it on your favorite device
Group video calling works on Windows, Mac and Xbox One. And soon you’ll be able to use it on mobiles and tablets, too.
In other words, it is currently available on Windows desktop, Mac and Xbox One platforms, and will be coming soon on other platforms.
N/B: Skype on Xbox One requires paid Xbox Live Gold membership.
